Founded in 1968 by Air Force veteran James William “Bill” Cullop, J.W. Cullop Inc. has spent more than five decades serving Maryland with dependable, knowledgeable commercial HVAC service. Bill brought a rare combination of discipline, technical skill, and integrity to the industry—qualities shaped by his Air Force service from 1956 to 1960 and his technical training at Columbia Technical School in Virginia, where he graduated in 1966.

From the beginning, J.W. Cullop Inc. built its reputation the old‑fashioned way: through honesty, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems—especially older units that require experience and precision. As a small, family‑run, veteran‑owned business, the company completed over 2,000 commercial projects, earning the trust of contractors, property managers, and businesses across the region.
